According to Designer Pages, the egg shape is the hot new shape. it is being used in bathtubs, tables, lamps and upholstered furniture. Barbara Barry has come out with a new oval table line. Actually it is quite cool. Some think this is popular as humans like to know that they can propagate the species. I think that is a little silly, but a cool new shape for furniture just the same.
